As a youngster, I devoted my heart and life to Spirit. Aligning with Spirit has always been central to how I move through the world. Over the years, I’ve found that basking in the great Love of Source has always been at the cornerstone of my spiritual practice. Poems would arise within me of their own accord. As the years roll on, I fall more deeply in love with the Beloved.
A Spiritual Awakening and Journey Within
In the early 2000s, after much soul searching, I experienced a profound spiritual calling from my core being. This led me to study Shamanism and delve deeper into the mysteries of what it means to be truly alive. As my awareness of Spirit’s work within me expanded, I also glimpsed how much I didn’t yet know. Now after years of following my inner voice, I find myself appreciating life to an increasingly greater extent, even during the hard times. I’ve come to realize that wholeness is both within my grasp and, at the same time, already my natural state of being.
Discovering Wholeness through Reiki
I began practicing Usui Reiki in 2006. I can truly say that this spiritual practice boosted my general understanding of healing and why we’re here. As I offered Reiki over the years through my Open Hands Reiki practice, my intuitive abilities naturally expanded, allowing me to read my clients’ energy and help them reach the core of their perceived challenges with greater speed and ease. Clairvoyance and clairaudience, though extraordinary, emerged effortlessly as a natural outflow of the healing work we were doing together. I began writing uplifting, channeled messages for my clients before they came in for their sessions, to augment the session and as a gift to take home with them. These are the messages that were made into Love is the Gateway: Channeled Love Letters from the Divine.
The Birth of Channeled Messages
The channeled messages in this book are a reflection of all I’ve experienced. I believe that the ability to channel resides within all of us, simply waiting for the opportunity to emerge. In those moments when you speak uplifting words that you hadn’t rehearsed and that seem to bypass the mind, you are channeling. We all do this because we are all part of the Divine.
An Invitation to Open to Love
My hope is that these messages will uplift and inspire you on your unique journey. They have a way of working in mysterious and beautiful ways. Try selecting one at random and allowing its wisdom to unfold throughout your day. Perhaps reread it in the evening and notice how its relevance deepens.
